Hello everyone.
The first five weeks of university our class had been spilt
up into two different groups. The other group had life drawing which we were
going to get after we finished print making.
We done monograph, lino, and etching on metal and plastic.
I adored getting messy with ink, I am a messy person in
general. Messily organised really. I get messy with ink, paint, pens, charcoal
and hot glue.
Most of the colours I used were purple and silvers. I mean
why not? The silver gone everywhere (not
surprising) and the purple went all over my face (not surprising either). I
wanted a reoccurring theme within my printmaking with mythical creatures,
flowers, and girl illustrations since I am comfy with it that way too.
In all honesty I did do a little research about printmaking
but only the techniques and the terms I am familiar with some but most were new to me. I researched them on here : The Print Shop.
